Lesson Learned

I guess that game BCS championship game can be used as a fine example of how not fully wanting something and pushing yourself to go after the prize can bite you in the rear end and make you look like a fool. 
Nothing can prevent you from accomplishing your goals other than yourself.
Unfortunately LSU had to learn this the hard way…

This was just a silly little song/poem I composed a while back.  I recently found it and it brought a smile to my face  It’s the simple things in life that keep us going; especially our loved ones.

Paradise

This was my New Years. This was perfect. All I want to do is live on the beach. It would be amazing to walk along the breaking waves and breath in the salty air. As you can see, I look very contemplating, and I am happy to say that I did make some very important decisions with the help of the ocean. I felt free.

Disrespect

When someone disrespects you you have one of two choices: 
1) Try to gain their respect for you back by continuing to keep them as an influence in your life or
2) Take them out of your life and surround yourself with people who do appreciate you.

I just had to make a this decision and it was surprisingly easy.  I chose number 2.  Why?  Because I didn’t find it worth worrying about.  If someone does not want to respect me, then why are they in my life in the first place?  
I just want to be happy; no one will prevent me from being happy.

Haha, well I knew all along there was nothing to worry about.  Just because the Mayans got lazy and didn’t feel like finishing their calendar doesn’t really give me any reason to freak out about the end of the world.
But now that 2012 finally has arrived, I feel renewed and refreshed, ready to make something of myself.  I hope everyone has put themselves in a new mindset about their life and how they are going to improve it.  I’d love to hear about your New Year Resolution and how you’re NOT going to break it the very next day.
Remember, starting our small is the best way and gradually building up to the goal you set.  Good luck to everyone and HAPPY FREAKING NEW YEARS!!!
